CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS #1

I haven't blogged for a couple of months but I don't want to miss the chance to share some CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS that are incredibly special to me.  GRANITE UNITED is a blessed church and one of the biggest reasons is the AMAZING CAMPUS PASTORS, SERVICE PASTORS, and DIRECTIONAL TEAM we have and I want to brag on them!

I want to draw out some of their incredible gifts and by no means is what I am about to write everything you need to know about these amazing men.

SALEM CAMPUS:

Saturday Leader:

PAUL BARBAGALLO - When I think of PAUL I think of the ULTIMATE TEAM PLAYER!  I think of a guy who has a desire to learn, a passion to lead, is an inspiration to those around him and is is always willing to do whatever needs to be done!

Sunday Leaders:

RODGER WRIGHT - Rodger is CAPTAIN ENERGY and EXCITEMENT!  Rodger is on of those guys who when he says charge everyone around him says LETS GO!  Rodger loves the LORD, is fully committed and is just a joy to be around!

COURTLAND HOLLOWAY - To know Court is to love Court!  He is one of the humblest caring people walking planet earth!  Court always believes the best in others and pushes me to be my best. Court cares deeply about people, and is a loyal freind.  Court is that guy that no matter what always has your back.

HAVERHILL CAMPUS:

JOHN CROTEAU - John is one of the most committed people I have ever met.  What I appreciate and love about John is his heart! John's heart beats for JESUS and bleeds for people.  Johns is a sacrificial giver, a serious follower of JESUS and inspires people where ever he goes.  When John walks in a room the room gets better!

LAWRENCE CAMPUS:

JOE GARON - Joe is the embodiment of MAN ON FIRE!  Joe's loyalty, faithfulness, intensity, and commitment is contagious.  He's one of the hardest working men both inside the church and in the marketplace.  Joe's focus and push for clarity makes us a better team.

LONDONDERRY CAMPUS:

MATT MCCAIN - Matt is a FIREBALL!  Matt is an amazing preacher, inspirational teacher, learner, and usually wherever Matt is someone is laughing about something!  Matt passion to see people connect and reach their full potential in JESUS is awesome.

NEXT GEN. MINISTRY:

TOM KING - Tom is one of the hardest working guys you could ever meet.  He possesses a drive and passion that makes GRANITE better.  His love for students and commitment to growth is rocking a region for JESUS.

CREATIVE MINISTRY:

GREGG DICECCA - Gregg is a loyal faithful team player that brings clarity to all that goes on in the GRANITE UNIVERSE.  Gregg's love for JESUS when he leads worship inspires hundreds of people to want to know and love JESUS more.  One of the things I appreciate about Gregg is he can always be counted on.

COACHING MINISTRY:

GEORGE WAKIM - George has been by my side serving faithfully for close to 17 years!  George is faithful, loyal and is passionate about seeing peoples lives aligned with GODS BEST.  George just makes us better.

GRANITE IS BLESSED with an exceptional team!  There's not enough room in this one blog to mention all the amazing ladies we have on our team.  If it weren't for the ladies our ship would be sunk at GRANITE, and yes I really do mean that!

I love, love, love being a part of this team, the GREATEST TEAM ON THE PLANET!

A pastor friend of mine and I were talking about the season the LOCAL CHURCH finds herself in right now. After our conversation he put this little slide together which is so true. LEADERS LEAD

In the book GO BIG the author suggests as goes the pastor so goes the church. In the GRANITE CONTEXT I would put it this way, AS GOES THE MINISTRY LEAD SO GOES THAT MINISTRY. We are a team oriented, team driven church, meaning, as LEAD PASTOR allot of sharing has been given out in our ministry, with the PRIVILEGE comes incredible RESPONSIBILITY. One of the things I have been encouraging our MINISTRY LEADS in 2011 is to GET YOUR HANDS OFF THE MINISTRY AND ONTO THE MINISTERS. As a HIGH LEVEL LEADER you cannot afford to get bogged down in programs and must stayed focused on people, your ministry people. Eph. 4:11-12, encourages us to EQUIP SAINTS, not to run programs. Programs are important but they do not warrant our attention tot he point of neglecting our teams. It will be our team members who will provide healthy programs, as we pour our lives in maintaining healthy leaders. So lets make this post a little more interactive than usual and throw out some ideas on how to LOVE ON

FOUR BIG QUESTIONS

At GRANITE moving the ball down the court means we are moving people into BIBLICAL DISCIPLESHIP.  And since we know PROGRAMS DON'T MORE PEOPLE but that PEOPLE MOVE PEOPLE we have FOUR BIG QUESTIONS we constantly ask in regards to those who are either NEW TO GRANITE or CALL GRANITE HOME.  What are those questions?  Well I'm glad you asked! Who are they? Where are they? What's their next step? Who's leading them?
