THE POWER OF CAPTURING MOMENTS IN MINISTRY

Last night in a CP meeting we discussed THE POWER OF STORIES - as I was reading this morning I was also reminded how important “pictures” that create conversation is to THE LORD.  Check these verse out…Joshua 4:6-7, “We will use these stones to build a memorial. In the future your children will ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ Then you can tell them, ‘They remind us that the Jordan River stopped flowing when the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant went across.’ These stones will stand as a memorial among the people of Israel forever.”  NLTA few things about capturing picture and videos on weekends…
  1.  They capture the moment
  2. They create conversation
  3. They intrigue the next generation
  4. They EXHALT GOD
  5. They remind us of GODS POWER
  6. They remind us of GODS FAITHFULNESS
  7. They encourage us in FUTURE OBEDIENCE
  8. They remind us that GOD always keeps HIS PROMISES
  9. They give us a reference to LOOK BACK on for FUTURE FAITH
  10. They encourage us to STAY FAITHFUL even in confusing times.
QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER…
  1.  Who story needs to be captured this weekend?
  2. How will we use the story captured to encourage our teams?
  3. How can we use the story to stoke our TEAMS FIRE
  4. How can we use the story to remind our church/campuses that GOD IS STILL WORKING and the church has NEVER shut down?
  5. How can the story EXALT OUR GREAT GOD?
For complete context to the 10 things I shared read Joshua 3-4.
